Who is Denise?

Denise Chaney is the wearer of many hats and titles: Wife, Mom, (Young) Grandma, Sister, Daughter & Friend. She can also be described as Marketing Professional, Book Publisher, Web and Print Designer & Business Owner. She is best known as a Singer, Worship Leader, Public Speaker and now, Author. There are millions of people with story’s that need to be told and heard. Stories that glorify the greatness of God. Stories that will make a difference in someone’s life. There are also millions of people smarter than me, who have more knowledge of the Bible, who understand types and shadows and scripture much better than me, yet:

...the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches
is true—it is not a lie. —1 John 2:27b

My heart is for people. My heart is for The Church. My hope in sharing my story is that we, The Church, will be stirred and changed. That we will be moved with compassion toward people — without shame, judgment or regret.

I pray for awakening. I pray that we will move forward with Jesus. A wise person recently shared with me this truth: Moving forward seems simple enough, but if we’re not following Jesus, we could move forward, right off of a cliff.
